Sparklefest 2023 | Saturday, December 2 from 4-6pm

With a chill in the air, snow in the skies, and magic in the season, it is time for the Mountain Mermaids Annual Sparklefest & Cookie Swap! This year we will gather on Saturday, December 2, from 4 to 6 p.m, at Lost Province Brewing Co (130 N. Depot St., Boone) to celebrate both our community and our 2023 online Giving Tuesday campaign, which will begin this Tuesday, November 28th. The Sparklefest event is free and everyone is invited!

We have the upstairs space at Lost Province reserved from 4 to 6 p.m. for the festivities. Feel free to come for the whole time or drop in for any part of the event. Holiday activities on deck include eating, drinking, merry-making, cookie-swapping, holiday ornament crafting, etc. If you want to participate in the cookie swap, follow this link for the sign--up and instructions. Participants will leave the event with a grand assortment of amazing cookies to share with friends and family or eat all by yourself. If you don't want to participate in the cookie exchange, that is fine too! You don't need to bring anything at all, and you still get to sample the cookies that others make (you just don't get to bring a bunch home with you). There will be holiday cheer for all! (Lost Province beer, pizza (!!) and their other delicious food and beverage will be available for purchase.)

Hope to see you at Lost Province this Saturday! We are thrilled to see you and celebrate the season in this annual gathering of dazzle and cookie. It is our honor to embark on the Mermaids Mentors Project's second year! With your support, we will develop this dynamic program that both celebrates and enriches our community.
